• RDP attacks
• Phishing
• Spam campaigns

Once the ransomware has been installed, it encrypts files on the victim's system. The encrypted files are renamed with a new file name that includes a unique ID and a file extension of ".lockbit". It also changes the victim's desktop wallpaper and displays a ransom note. The ransom note demands a ransom in cryptocurrencies to obtain a decryption key.
