Minimum Info Needed to Hack iCloud From Darkteam

Just curious. What's the minimum information needed to attempt a hack on an iCloud account? AppleID or email used to access iCloud? Any personal info other than ID or email needed? Also, is it likely easier to hack a gmail account than an iCloud account? Appreciate any info those that have done this can provide.
